Travel within Italy to Florence

How to find your way to Florence.

Florence (Peretola) airport is only 5 Kilometres from the city centre and connects to all major routes. Meridiana & Alitalia are the main carries to Florence airport from the UK however many international flights are routed to either Pisa or Bologna airports both which have rail links with Florence Station (Santa Maria Novella). If you fly directly into Florence, either take a taxi from the airport or take the SITA bus which will take you to the main train station.

Ryanair flies to Pisa which is just a short train ride to Florence (approx. 1 hour). For fares visit www.ryanair.com Trains run from Pisa airport and Pisa Central Station.
